“Sola” Photography
I love it when a set of photographs come together in my mind and then I am able to translate that to something pretty cool. “Sola Gratia … Sola Fide” (pictured above) is one of those sets. I am a person of faith and when possible I try to combine my love for God with my love of photography. I want everyone to know and appreciate the fact that I have no talents or gifts apart from what God has given me and that with all my human imperfections I try very hard to exercise my faith in the One who has been so gracious to me.
The photographs are of some of the doors in front on the First Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. The photographs were taken at night and converted to black and white in post edit. I hope you enjoy this set of photographs and the message that it conveys.

Beautiful job Mike. As many times as I’ve passed that building, I don’t think I ever noticed the words above the doors before.
Thanks for commenting on this Harley. I actually saw them several months ago, but hadn’t had a chance to get back to the church until this last weekend. It is a beautiful building and it has some very unique features. I think I will be going back this church time and again.
This is a sober set of photos
Paul… Thanks for the commenting. I know you found them sobering, but did you find them inspirational as well? I hope that you did.
