Reintroducing ShewMen
It has been quite a while since I blogged about anything. I closed all but one of my blogs over the summer and recently made the decision to reopen ShewMen, because I really do miss blogging about experiences related to Christ and the Christian walk. So, here we are again.
Allow me a moment to give you a little snapshot of the types of things you will see, hear, and read here on this site. My hope and prayer is first and foremost to reach you. Whether you believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior or not, my intent is to share Him with you.
I understand that not everyone who visits this site will be a believer or even come to believe in Jesus, but that will not stop me from sharing with you His work on the cross for the sake of those who are saved. After all, I’m called to do so just as my brothers and sisters in Christ are called to do so, and it is my intent to never waver in this regard.
With that short reintroduction allow me to elaborate on the types things you will find here:
- Blog entries and articles related to the word of God in worship and as a study.
- Prayer.
- Videos related to the gospel as taught by various pastors and teachers throughout the world.
- Guest writers for exposes’, articles, and teachings specific to the Bible, Jesus Christ, God, and other spiritual matters.
- Blog entries and articles in comparative religion primarily related to the LDS Church and critical commentary associated with their organization, theology, and teachings.(Note: I live in Utah, so most of my articles in this regard will be related to the LDS Church. This is not a bash site like so many sites out there that attempt to take on a religion recklessly. Rather, this site will focus more on what is said with a counter to the claim that a particular religions might make.)
- Sermon discourses and outlines.
- Sermon and Bible teaching audios (not yet determined if I will actually do this).
- Links to resources, blogs and articles of interest.
- Book and Bible study material reviews.
- Blog entries and articles on Calvinism and Reformed Theology. (Note: For my Southern Baptist friends who do not lay claim to these, discussions must none-the-less be presented as they are structures of theology woven into the fabric of Southern Baptist life.)
I hope you will enjoy ShewMen. I pray that I serve you as a worthy servant in Christ Jesus and that you will be a willing participant in the information that will be posted here. Look for the first “official” post to come soon and check back often as I add new resources regularly.
Blessings,
Mike
